Serbia has always been well known for its basketball, volleyball, water polo, football, handball players etc... Since recently Belgrade is proud to have new stars of World tennis – Novak Djokovic, Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic.
There are about 1000 sport halls in Belgrade, equipped for all sports and for every competition level so that our city has the necessary technical elements for the organization of the Olympic games.
There are eight stadiums, 12 sports centres, six sports halls, tree bicycles tracks, 15 hunting fields, a hippodrome, many wellness and fitness centres, and other sport facilities.
